This project is the rejuvenation of the Armstrong Cork Factory under the commission of Hammel Companies Inc., and McCaffery, International. It is part of the Rails to Trails Project, which is located along the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It is a meandering trail with elongated, vegetated mounds, and two stainless steel urns that reflect the great age of industry. The project was a collaboration with David Petrosky, Landscape Artist of the Kimball Corporation.
